Hi! We are a French–Polish couple living in Paris’ 19th arrondissement, just a short walk from Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. We both love animals of all kinds, especially dogs, and thanks to flexible work arrangements we are able to work from home part of the time. Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and since we no longer have one of our own, we truly miss having a furry companion around. That’s why we’re excited to welcome your dog into our home and give them the care, attention, and affection they deserve. A little about us:  

Wiktoria (33, Polish) has had dogs her entire life. She grew up with two family dogs: Bishop, a Labrador who lived to the remarkable age of 19, and Miśka, a spirited rescue dog who taught her the value of patience and unconditional love. After moving out of her family home, she began volunteering at an animal shelter in Warsaw, spending nearly every weekend walking and caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and health conditions. After a year and a half of volunteering, she adopted Fuks, an older mixed-breed dog who became her constant companion. Fuks moved with her to Amsterdam, where he enjoyed a wonderful retirement. He was incredibly intelligent, curious, and brave, but he also required regular medication and several surgeries throughout his life. Caring for him gave her extensive experience with senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and he lived happily until the age of 15. 

Bastien (33, French) didn’t grow up with a dog, but he has always loved them. Over the years he regularly looked after friends’ dogs, and his passion for dogs only grew stronger. He became part of Wiktoria and Fuks’ family in Amsterdam, and together they eventually moved back to France.  

Sadly, Fuks is no longer with us, and we miss him every day. Becoming pet sitters felt like the perfect way to continue sharing our home and our affection with dogs. 

Pet sitting is not our full-time job (we work in media/ tech), so we focus mainly on hosting dogs in our home. We live in a comfortable two-room apartment on the 7th floor of a building with an elevator, only two minutes from Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, so your dog won’t have to deal with difficult stairs.

Depending on availability, we may also be able to offer dog walks in our neighborhood or house sitting after prior discussion. We have experience with young and senior dogs, small and large breeds, and dogs that are energetic, shy, or more reserved. We can also administer oral medication if needed. 

We speak French, English, and Polish, although English is our preferred language at home. 

Our goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and we’ll care for them as if they were our own. In Amsterdam we used Pawshake a lot looking for sitters, so we know exactly the stress pet owners go through to find someone reliable to take care of their babies.

After the booking, we would love to learn more about your dogs - what they like, how they are, what to watch out for, what are the rules at your home - it will help us make sure they get the best care possible with minimal stress. We are also excited to take them for walks in the parc!
