Hello, I'm Jakob, a 24-year-old originally from the beautiful region of Italy near the Slovenian border. I'm currently pursuing a double degree in architecture here in Paris, a city I’ve grown to love for its charm and pet-friendly spaces. My studies allow me a flexible schedule, which means I can dedicate quality time to caring for your pets. Why Choose Me? Having grown up with animals, especially Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Airedale Terriers, I’ve always had a deep connection with dogs. My lifelong experience with these breeds, along with caring for various others while helping friends in Milan, has given me a solid foundation in understanding and meeting the needs of different dogs. I’m motivated by the need to have animals in my life; they bring a sense of joy and companionship that I genuinely miss while living away from home. What I Offer I offer a range of services, including dog walking, home visits, and house sitting. During home visits, I typically spend 30 to 45 minutes with your pet, ensuring they get some outdoor time and plenty of attention. If needed, I can stay longer to keep them company and even take care of tasks like watering plants or bringing in the mail. For dog walks, I prefer to spend 1 to 2 hours outdoors, allowing your dog to explore and have fun. I usually walk around the city and visit nearby parks, making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and stimulation. As for house sitting, I’m more than happy to stay at your home to keep your pets comfortable and secure. I take home security seriously, ensuring everything is locked up and secure when you’re away. Experience and Skills My experience includes administering medications to dogs, such as giving pills or simple cutaneous injections. While I’m not a professional groomer, I can handle basic grooming tasks like brushing and cleaning, though I leave haircuts and nail trimming to the experts. I also have experience with basic dog training, helping to reinforce positive behaviors. Who Am I? I’m a responsible, caring individual who finds immense joy in spending time with animals. My upbringing with dogs has instilled in me a deep respect and love for them, and I’m committed to ensuring that every pet in my care feels safe, loved, and well-cared for. I understand that leaving your pet with someone requires trust, and I strive to build a trustworthy relationship with both you and your pet. Availability As a university student, my schedule is flexible. I can adjust my availability depending on the day, sometimes being free more in the morning and other times in the afternoon. This flexibility allows me to accommodate your pet’s needs and ensure they receive the attention they deserve. Your Neighborhood and Pet-Friendly Areas Living in Paris has its perks, especially for dog owners. I’m located in a pet-friendly neighborhood with access to several parks and green spaces where your dog can enjoy long, leisurely walks. I always prioritize finding safe, enjoyable routes that your dog will love. In summary, I bring a wealth of experience, a deep love for animals, and a commitment to providing the best care possible for your pets. Whether you need someone to walk your dog, visit them at home, or stay with them while you’re away, I’m here to offer reliable, loving care.
