Hello everyone,

my name is Hannah, I’m 26 years old, and I have been living in Berlin for the past six years. I originally come from Ingolstadt, Germany, and I am currently in my 10th semester of medical school at Charité in Berlin. I am now living in Paris while studying for my medical exams, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting for the next 8 months. I live in a spacious apartment with a large terrace.

I grew up with pets and have always had animals around me. My parents still have two cats, Frida and Minusch, as well as a Golden Retriever named Lenzi. Growing up with animals from an early age has given me a natural understanding of their needs and taught me to treat them with patience, care and responsibility. In particular, growing up with a Golden Retriever has given me a lot of experience with dogs. We also attended dog training classes, so I have a basic understanding of dog training and communication.

In Berlin, I have already looked after several dogs of different breeds, both for walks and overnight stays. I also have experience with dogs that can be more challenging in terms of their behaviour, and I always approach them calmly, patiently and reliably. I am particularly attentive with dogs who tend to eat everything they find outside (“vacuum cleaner dogs”) and make sure to keep a close eye on them during walks.

I am comfortable administering medication to pets and, through my medical studies, I am trained to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations. I also always make sure to have local veterinary contacts available, just in case.

It is very important to me to give every animal my full attention, which is why I generally only look after one dog at a time. During a stay, your pet is my priority, and I adapt my routine to their individual needs and usual schedule. Before every booking, I like to have a detailed conversation with the owner to learn about all relevant habits, routines, preferences and special needs.

I enjoy taking dogs on longer, relaxed walks and adapt them to both the dog’s needs and the routes they are used to from home. I am happy to explore the nearby parks and surroundings with them. Depending on the dog’s needs, I can also provide several walks per day.

I am very flexible with my time, but I plan my bookings so that I can be fully available for the animal. This means that I do not accept bookings when I have university, work or other commitments at the same time. This allows me to make sure that pets are not left alone for longer than necessary and receive reliable, attentive care throughout their stay.

I live with my best friend Jan who is French, I am a non-smoker, and my apartment is pet-friendly and safe for animals. It is located in the 18th. Depending on what your pet is used to, they can either bring their own bed or happily sleep on the sofa.

I offer a loving all-round care experience including companionship, exercise, playtime and plenty of attention. I would be very happy to get to know you and your pet! 🐾
