Hi there! My name is Madison and I am from California, USA. I currently live and attend university in Paris, France. I also work here as an in-person English tutor for kids. I was raised on a farm in California, USA with sheep, cows, goats, and more and loved spending time with the animals. Growing up there were always 1-5 dogs in the house that I would feed, walk, play with, and keep an eye on. I also have experience looking after cats and hamsters. I moved from California to Paris, France when I was 18 to pursue my Bachelor’s degree and I have loved that experience! However, I have certainly missed my pets. I would love to spend my time between studies sharing love and care with your fury friend!

I live just near a few parks with ample enclosed green space for fetch and running and potty breaks. My building sits on a large courtyard with space to relax and walk outside. I love to play games with toys like tug-of-war, fetch, and more. I have puppy training experience with treats and know a few spacial awareness games that are always fun. I can play with cats inside using feathers, lights, and string toys. I also love cuddles! If our furry friend is tired or warn out, some rest and recreation is just up my alley. I have owned pets from puppyhood until the harder days. I am used to caring for pets with dissabilities and difficulties.

Before sitting a pet, I'd like to know their age, vaccination status, unusual allergies, and disabilities. I'd also like to know what kinds of treats they can and cannot have if any. I love training and rewarding with treats, but not without permission first. I'll also ask what kind of rules you would like me to enforce around barking, laying on furniture, etc. I want to make sure my care aligns with what the pet is used to at home.

Details on pet-care in my home:

I live alone in a small apartment so can only offer day-care in my home, I do not take overnight boarding in my home. I love being outdoors and live next to a beautiful and spacious park so most if the time I spend with your pet will be outside running or laying in the grass and playing in the open space. When in my home I can still play games with pets usuing their favorite toys and treats and also working on puppy behavioral training including jumping, biting, barking, potty, and more if the owner desires. I have a little spot with food and water, and plenty of space to lay down and rest or cuddle. I have experience administering oral and injected medication to dogs and can do so at owner's request. I will only board one pet at a time in my home so your furry friend will have all of my love and attention. When boarding in my home, pets will never be left alone for any period of time. Because I go to school 4 days a week, I can watch a pet for 1-5 hours during a weekday and 1-13 hours on a weekend.

Details on pet-care at owner's home:

When given the option, I prefer to watch pets at the owners home, including daycare and overnight boarding, because tehre will be more space and the pet will be more comfortable in a familiar environment. My studies usually end around 17:00 Monday-Thursday and I can stop by anytime after that and spend the night when needed. I am not in school Firdays, Saturdays, or Sundays and can devote as much day-time or night-time care as needed on those days. During pet care I can administer oral and injected medication, play with treats and toys, work on puppy behavioral training including jumping, biting, barking, potty, and more. I can leave the home for walks or playtime at the park whenever needed and however often, I can make and serve dry or wet food and keep the water bowl full, I can water plants, bring in the mail, tidy the house and other small tasks as needed. I can stay at a pet owners home for as long as they'd liken (up to 7 hours for daycare and 24 hours for boarding at a time), for multiday boarding I would leave for food or shopping no more than an hour long. If the owner only desires I stop by occasionaly to check-in, administer medication, provide food, etc. I can do that as little or as often as needed up to 10 times a day. I will not bring other pets into your home but I am happy to watch all of your pets including up to 10 cats and up to 5 dogs at a time. During care for dogs, I can take them on walks, usually about 40-60 minutes long and I also love trips to the park for play and sunshine for hours at a time.
