Hi dear Animal-friend,

I'm Marlene - welcome to my page ! :)

I'm experienced with animals, technically since I was born. I have always been surrounded by animals, such as dogs, cats and rabbits. As a little baby I crawled into bed with our Dogs puppies and since then my love for animals has never left. I mainly grew up with 2 giant schnauzers and 2 cats, and we often took in foster dogs who needed special care because of previous emotional stress.

When I visit my parents I still meet our spanish mastin leones “Roswitha”, our Chien de Montagne des Pyrénées “Kalle” and Maine Coon Cat “Bella”. Since I moved out I really miss having animals around me, which is why I would like to be a sitter for dogs and cats. I already have experience in taking care of strangers' animals and have often looked after the animals of friends and friends of my parents in the past. I am very responsible, loving but also know how to assert myself with dogs.

I'm experienced in walking on the leash and leash training, giving oral medicine to dogs and cats, in washing dogs, in training puppys to learn simple commandos such as e.g. sit or wait, with playing and with a lot of cuddles.

I love animals of all kinds which is why I have been vegan since I was 13.

What is specifically included in the services you offer?

I'm able to administer oral medication to pets, feed, brush their fur or teeth, train puppies to walk on the leash or simple commandos like "sit".

How many dogs will you board at the same time?

I like to keep my attention on one dog, but could take up to 2 at the same time.

How long are your dog walks?

My dog walks are minimum 35 mins, likely longer. I love to walk min. 15.000 steps a day through the city or park in general, which makes it perfect to take a dog with me. One day with me could look like a 45min walk and a visit to the dog park which is just 180m away from me or a walk to the bigger one "espace canin - square rejane" just 30 mins walk away.

How many dog walks do you offer per day?

I can offer up to two long dog walks a day, during whole-daycare up to three or four walks a day.

I could spend the whole day with pets (from 9:30 - 19:00), if there is no important meeting which i have to go to. that would be an individual case, which i would communicate with the dog’s owner.

I'm a freelancer, which makes me flexible and gives me the possibility to plan my time personally. I go on walks everyday and a dog would fit perfectly in this routine.

I'm available pretty flexibel and can adapt to the requests I get. My availablity will always be able to see in the calender, which is updated frequently.

I work from home, or on business trips (which will be marked as unavailable in the calender). it could happen that i need to go to a meeting in real life, but that would be an individual case.

I won't be taking Pets overnight. Otherwise they will always be supervised by me and never be left alone.

I live alone.

When the pets are at my appartement and want to sleep they are allowed to sleep in the living room, or bedroom on a dog-blanket on the floor. But I won't be able to take dogs over night.

I have no backyard.
