Hello! My name is Martina, and I recently moved to Paris. While I love this beautiful city, I deeply miss the connection with animals. Back home, my family lives in a house with a garden, where our pets have the freedom to roam, explore the forests and fields, and truly enjoy nature.

I grew up surrounded by animals, especially dogs and cats. My first dog, Aja, was my childhood dream come true—I got her when I was 18 and raised her from a puppy. I taught her everything from house training to socializing with other dogs. We went on long walks together, and I comforted her through restless nights. She grew up with me, and I grew up with her. She was my companion for 14 years until she passed away.

Over the years, I’ve cared for many pets—both my own and those of friends who needed someone trustworthy while they were away. I made sure their pets were not only fed and walked but also had company, playtime, and affection. When I was studying, I worked closely with rescue dogs, helping to rehome strays and assisting with adoption efforts.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my love for animals and the joy they bring into my life. I work as a writer and photographer, often from home, which allows me to be flexible with my time. While I would love to have my own pet, my frequent travels for work make that challenging. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to care for animals while ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.

I connect easily with animals and respect their unique personalities. I believe they communicate their needs clearly if we take the time to listen. I’m responsible, adaptable, and always prioritize an animal’s well-being. I have experience with all aspects of pet care, including cleaning litter boxes, picking up after dogs, administering oral medication, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable.
